This is the fourth consecutive time since 2006 that Abuelo\u2019s has ranked as the number one Mexican restaurant chain in the report that is released by the national publication.<\/p>\n<p>The results were based on a nearly 70,000 subscribers reporting on 170,838 restaurant visits from mid-2015 to early 2016, rating the best\/worst aspects at 238 restaurant chains around the nation.<\/p>\n<p>Abuelo\u2019s ranked highest in the Mexican dining category with a score of 85, based on rankings in food, menu variety, value, service and ambience. Abuelo\u2019s score was the highest ranking given in the casual dining segment and compared favorably to scores given to higher-end restaurant concepts such Houston\u2019s, Del Frisco\u2019s Double Eagle, Morton\u2019s and Mitchell\u2019s Fish Market.
