$1 from every Chile con Queso appetizer sold November 7-11 will be donated to Homes for Our Troops<\/p>\n

LUBBOCK, Texas \u2013 In honor of Veterans Day, Abuelo\u2019s Mexican restaurants are pleased to support Homes for Our Troops and invite guests to enjoy Chile con Queso for a good cause during its \u201cQueso for Heroes\u201d fundraiser. Starting Monday, November 7 through Friday, November 11, Abuelo\u2019s restaurants nationwide will donate $1 from the proceeds of every Chile con Queso appetizer sold to Homes for Our Troops, a national non-profit organization that builds specially adapted homes for severely injured Veterans.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are proud and honored to support Homes for Our Troops\u2019 efforts to help those brave men and women who protect our freedom,\u201d said Robert Lin, president of Food Concepts International, Abuelo\u2019s parent company. \u201cHomes for Our Troops is a great organization and we look forward to giving back to our Heroes this Veterans Day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Homes for Our Troops (HFOT) is a privately funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization building specially adapted, mortgage-free homes nationwide for the most severely injured Veterans of post-9\/11.
